All classes are taught from a Christian worldview perspective by a team of highly trained faculty who are specialists in their field. Our programs are designed with the working adult in mind-classes are held one night per week in the evening to accommodate your schedule. Our staff is here to help you not only start your accelerated degree program, but to complete it successfully and receive your degree! We pride ourselves on the service we provide and the personal attention we give to each individual student.
For a bachelor's degree, it depends on how many qualifying transfer credits you have. If you possess at least an associate's degree, then you should be able to complete your bachelor's degree in two years or less. For a master's degree, you will be able to complete your degree in 18-24 months.
Yes. Belhaven University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees. Also, the School of Business Administration has the following adult degree programs accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education.
Classes meet one night per week for a period of 5-8 weeks, depending on the class and degree program. Group work with classmates is also required outside of the classroom to help enhance the learning experience in this accelerated format.
Applicants should contact ALL previously attended college and request Official Academic transcripts to be forwarded to the Belhaven University Admission office. Transfer credit is determined by the registrar on the basis that work must be from a regionally accredited institution, be college level, and equal a 2.0 average. Belhaven recognizes that cost is an important factor to be considered when evaluating a degree program. Adult students are classified as full-time students and have the option to finance their education with financial aid. For more information on the tuition rates, please visit the tuition page on our website. Tuition includes use of books, materials, and technology.
Complete the online application for admission and request all transcripts from previously attended colleges be sent directly to the Belhaven University Houston Campus. If you have not attended college before, request an official high school transcript.
Belhaven University has designed our programs with the military in mind. Military personnel can attend classes at one of our six campus locations or participate in our online program. We offer a tuition discount for military and participate in the Yellow Ribbon program. We also participate in other veteran's benefits programs.
